The Farm of 21st century

The Bachelor´s Thesis is based on the architectural study completed during the second year of the bachelor´s studies. Its aim was to design horse houses for hypotherapy with ouside uncoverd riding hall, inside roofed riding hall and an additional capacity of accommodation for visitors besides an existing object. The building is located in Orlicke hory, what affected setting in the topography and the entire setting within a building lot. In respect of a huge degree of incline of the topography, the object is set along level curves and it reflects the topography configuration. The Adelheide Farm consists of the three parts, one of them is roofed riding hall, a part meant to be a box horse housing and a part which is aimed to be a public space, what should be visible from the outside view. The design combines a traditional architecture of Orlicke hory with a modern architecture. There are used natural materials in the design, for example wood. The wooden facade lamella link two objects optically.
Water park Brno

The subject matter of the assigned project is Aquapark Brno – located near Lužánky. The subject is an architectural study elaboration of an aquapark adjoining the current swimming pool building which was established in 1979. This building facility is used primarily by professional swimmers and sportsmen for it contains the only 50 meters long swimming pool with a tribune in Brno. The aim of the project is to create new areas and pools for visitors with recreational intentions and therefore to widen the possibilities for free time activities. The project also deals with restoration of a 16 meters long training pool in the existing building, creation of inner and outer aquapark areas and adding exercise and dance halls as an extension to the existing fitness center. Another goal of this project was to make the pedestrian access to the area more pleasant which is achieved by creating an underground parking space in the area of the existing building’s frontal space and also by designing a footpath leading from the remote side of the excessively frequented Sportovní street. The primary aim of the project is an operational connection of the existing and the new building by a central building and also preventing an eclipse of the area by integrating the building in the area’s hillside. The advantage of the project is the presence of relaxation facilities and sports areas. The project completes the sporting environment of the area which makes it an attractive locality for a family recreation.
Wheelchair-family house

The Thesis solves the design and implementation of project documentation of a family house that is free of barriers for individuals with limited mobility. The building is situated in the suburbs of the city Trebic - Podklasteri. The surrounding area is composed of family houses that are accessible from the street. Street is connected to a 3rd class road leading from Trebic to the village Nova Ves. The house has two floors and a partial basement. The first floor complies all the requirements for a disabled person. Transport between floors is for a disabled person provided by a personal elevator. The building is dissected by a spacious garage. A terrace with garden serves as a relaxation zone. Roofing is projected from roof racks at different high levels. The vertical structure is built from ceramic blocks. The house is designed for a 4-member family including one member with limited mobility. The garage is for one vehicle, and space in front of the garage allows one to park another vehicle. The building entrance is through a paved ramp to the roofed shelter.
Sports and Leisure Centre Brno

The theme of the dissertation titled the Centre of Sport and Leisure Time in Brno is a design of a relaxing and sport site „Centrum Lužánky“. The subject of this project is architectonic-city-planning study, which deals with elaborating a concept of a sport centre behind Lužánky in Brno-Ponava. This dissertation contains details of the facility and the area of the current swimming pool Lužánky. The current state of the facility built in 1979 doesn’t meet requirements of visitors and sportsmen anymore. The main aim of this project is the reconstruction of the current fifty-meter swimming pool, a design of a new swimming pool placed under the ground floor of the current building, which will provide space for organizing international competitions, trainings of professional sportsmen, etc. At the same time the busyness of the current swimming pools would be lowered by building a new indoor and outdoor waterpark, especially for the group of recreational visitors. The attractiveness of the facility will be increased by the newly designed park relaxing area and proposed multipurpose area, used as a sports field in the summer and as an ice ring in the winter. Additional value of the facility is comprised by an indoor and outdoor café and large relaxing area on the roof of the waterpark. The whole area increases the community facility availability by a proposed wide range of services for health, relax and sport. The advantage of the whole concept is the mutual connection of all facilities. The entrance to the area is shortened by a designed pedestrian bridge, accessible from the south and north busy areas. The whole project is enhanced by increased number of new parking places, located particularly along the access road, the street Sportovní, going through a green zone. This diploma work deals with researching study of transport junction of main road I/38 and major road II/523 and than link-up of the proposed Outer ring road (VMO) and Southeastern by-pass (JVO) routes of region capital Jihlava, district of Jihlava, Vysočina region. Road structure will solve designed staged link-up of aboved mentioned roads according to their construction schedule. The design takes into account current roads and completed stages, with respect to minimum costs. Road structure is situated on Czech-Moravian Highlands. Its terrain is hilly, pondy and composed of agricultural parcels. The main purpose of this design is steady link-up of all considered traffic flows in the given locality.
Construction Technological Project of a Heat Feeder in South Bohemia

The subject of the diploma thesis is a technological construction project of heat feeder on the hot water pipeline between České Budějovice and nuclear power plant Temelín. The main object is an industrial hall made of steel and brick administrative part. The hall is a steel structure clad with sandwich panels. The administrative part is single-storey building from bricks and has a flat roof. The construction also includes an access road with car park.

Park of Culture Brno

The goal of this project is to design a new cultural and social center in Brno on the Mikulasek Square, Starý Lískovec. The main idea of the project was not only to design a building that would perfectly serve its purpose, but it was also to create a lively enviroment to meet people and to spend the leisure time. It was not required to detract the green areas in this housing estate. So there was a park created on the new building’s roofs. This is how the omitted place got its character and use. There are two buildings designed under the ground level and a bridge that helps the continuity of the park. On the south side in front of the main entrances there is a space with outdoor stage and auditorium followed by a wide ramp that meanders between the two buildings. The ramp was situated to the center of the project in order not to set aside the invalids. In front of the buildings there is also an area called ‚park square‘ which is formed by an irregular grass surfaces and pathes that lead to a various directiones. This space was designed according to an analysis of the people’s movement in this area. There are trees planted and the pathes are lined with long wooden rectangular-shaped benches.
LABORARTORY BRNO

The concept of highly exposed street corner of the streets Koliště and Milady Horákové is trying to focus on site's benefits and eliminate its biggest difficulty - isolation by the traffic. The design also explores different ways to exhibit modern art, it is focused on maximal variability, usability and seasonal exploitability. The building itself has eight floors and it is placed for that you can still have the eye connection between the strees of Kapitan Jaros and Moravian square. These two sites are connected by a ramp that continues with an underpass creating new public space used by the gallery to establish outdoor exhibitions, workshops and many more, so that the city and the people passing are dragged into the game.
Bridge on a interchange in Brno

Diploma thesis describes the design and assessment of bridge supporting structure on the ramp in Brno. Road bridge crosses the I/42 road and railway. The bridge is part of the VMO Brno. The structure is designed from prestressed concrete. Assessment of construction is carried out in accordance with applicable European standards. When designing the support structure is taken into account the gradual construction of the bridge. The thesis includes design calculation, drawing documentation and 3D visualization.
